Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Noida Lok Manch Vs. Union of India & Ors. dated 06/02/2014 regarding illegal mining going on in the State of Uttar Pradesh. NGT also asks the "Deputy Commissioner and
the Superintendent of Police of Districts Faridabad and Gautam Budh Nagar shall remain present before the Tribunal and shall furnish complete details of the 23 dumpers which were involved in the illegal mining in these
areas. They shall also inform the Tribunal as to the extent of value of minor mineral involved in this illegal mining. The loss of revenue to the State as well would be stated".
