Order of the National Green Tribunal (Central Zonal Bench, Bhopal) in the matter of Subhash C. Pandey Vs. Municipal Corporation, Bhopal & Ors.dated 13/02/2014 regarding lake pollution, Bhopal. BMC (Bhopal Municipal Corporation) has suggested that for future prevention of accumulation of silt and the solid waste in the lake a lining along the Panchseel Nalah as well as Manisha Nalah be made by laying inter locking
bricks. For this NGT asked the suitability of this project be examined and project prepared for the aforesaid purpose which would help in keeping the area along the Nalahs clean and also prevent cementing in the Nalahs and accumulation.
