Order of the National Green Tribunal (Western Zone Bench, Pune) in the matter of Mrs. Marie Christine Perdriau & Anr Vs GCZMA & Ors dated 08/05/2014 regarding the annual Sun-burn festival held in the month of December in Goa. NGT has directed the State Govt of Goa to place on record the observations of the Committee constituted to oversee the monitoring of the festival on the measures to control noise pollution, air pollution effects of lights on aqua-culture and care taken in respect of monitoring of sand level/ sand dune.
