Severe Cyclonic Storm, ‘HUDHUD’ over west central Bay of Bengal , Cyclone Warning for north Andhra Pradesh & south Odisha coasts (IMD Press Release) [1]

The Severe Cyclonic Storm ‘ HUDHUD ’ over west central Bay of Bengal moved north westwards , intensified into a very severe cyclonic storm and lay
centered at 1 4 30 hrs IST of today, the 10th October 2014 near latitude 15.0 ºN and longitude 86.8 ºE about 470 km east - southeast of Visakhapatnam and 5 2 0 km south - southeast of Gopalpur . The system would move west - northwestwards and cross n orth Andhra Pradesh coast around Visakhapatnam
