Very Severe Cyclonic Storm, ‘HUDHUD’ over west central Bay of Bengal , Cyclone Warning for north Andhra Pradesh & south Odisha coasts ( Red Message) [1]

According to latest observations, the Very Severe Cyclonic Storm ‘ HUDHUD ’ over westcentral Bay of Bengal moved west - northwestwards during past six hours and lay centered at 1 4 30 hrs IST of 11 th October 20 14 near latitude 16.1 ºN and longitude 85. 0 ºE , about 250 km southeast of isakhapatnam and 340 km south - southeast of Gopalpur. The system would move northwestwards and cross north Andhra Pradesh coast around Visakhapatnam by the forenoon of 12 th October 2014.
