Order of the National Green Tribunal (Principal Bench, New Delhi) in the matter of Krishan Kant Singh Vs. M/s Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt. Ltd. & Others dated 1/08/2015 regarding the utilization of ground water by Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt. Ltd., in the village of Mehdiganj, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
The Tribunal in its order asked for a joint verification of the correctness of water user ratio and present actual water consumption and actual effluent discharge during operations of the respondent unit, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt. Ltd. at the hands of the UPPCB and CPCB vide Order dated 21.04.2015.
