Order of the National Green Tribunal (Principal Bench, New Delhi) in the matter of Jaipal Singh Vs. Lt. Governor, Delhi & Ors. dated 13/08/2015 regarding encroachment of Delhi Ridge.
Counsel appearing on behalf of the State of Delhi and Forest Department as well as the Counsel appearing on behalf of the Ministry of Environment And Forests, Government of India submitted that they do not wish to dispute the ultimate purpose and object of this application and they would be taking necessary steps for protecting the forest in question from further encroachments.
