Order of the National Green Tribunal (Principal Bench, New Delhi) in the matter of J.P. Sharma Vs. Delhi Development Authority & Ors. dated 24/08/2015.
The Applicant has produced before the Tribunal some photographs showing the indiscriminate dumping of the municipal solid waste, construction debris in and around the Hindon Canal and its banks, particularly in Vasundhara Enclave. Both the State of U.P. and NCT of Delhi are contributories to this environmental and health hazards arising out of unchecked indiscriminate dumping of municipal solid waste etc.
