Order of the National Green Tribunal (Eastern Zone Bench, Kolkata) in the matter of Tapan Kumar Bhowmick & Others Vs West Bengal Pollution Control Board & Others dated 05/02/2016 regarding pollution caused by a bakery, Kolkata, West Bengal.
The consent to operate is valid upto 31.12.2017. However, since the directions granted to the State Pollution Control Board have not been complied with despite the time given to the project proponent, the PCB is directed to recall the consent to operate decision forthwith and action taken report to be filed by the PCB on the next date of hearing (15/03/2016).
