Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Kaushambi Apartments Residents Welfare Association (KARWA) V/s Ghaziabad Nagar Nigam & Ors. dated 06/05/2016 regarding illegal sewer connectivity in Kaushambi, Ghaziabad. A grievance is made about the illegal sewer connectivity and emptying of sewerage into storm water drain as well as storm water drain getting chocked up with MSW. An undertaking dated 30-04-2016 of the Commissioner of Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation has been placed before NGT but nothing concrete has been revealed as to how the applicant would finally get redressal of his grievance. Undertaking also reveals that substantial amount of money has to come from Respondent No. 2 i.e. GDA for construction of sewer line network.
