Order of the National Green Tribunal regarding municipal solid waste management in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, 10/05/2016 [1]

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Karan Singh Vs. State of Himachal Pradesh & Others dated 10/05/2016 regarding municipal solid waste management in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. Tribunal noted that there is no plant presently operating in the State of Himachal Pradesh, including its capital at Shimla thus it is necessary that the municipal solid waste instead of being dumped in the Hilly Valley should be taken to Chandigarh site and provided to the plant.
