Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Akash Vashishtha Vs. Union of India & Others dated 06/07/2016 regarding concretisation preventing ground water replenishment in the National Capital Region.

Minutes of the Meeting held on 15th January, 2016 was presented before the Tribunal where it was noted that the Committee "has taken decision in relation to the water bodies; ponds, lakes in the area; constructions in the parks as well as road side and the kind of tiles that required to be used. A policy has been suggested in this report." NGT while accepting the recommendations of the Competent Authority asked the State Departments to issue policy guidelines in consonance with these Minutes within four weeks.
