Order of the National Green Tribunal regarding setting up a municipal solid waste plant and STP in the Beas river bed, Himachal Pradesh, 19/08/2016 [1]

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Court on its own Motion & Others Vs. State of Himachal Pradesh & Others dated 19/08/2016 regarding setting up a plant for municipal solid waste and STP in the Beas river bed. NGT in its order noted that the sites are not even one meter away from the river stream. In fact they are almost touching the water of the river.
