Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of R.D. Anand Vs. Chandigarh Union Territory Administration & Others dated 05/12/2016 regarding plastic segregation from the municipal solid waste, Chandigarh.
National Green Tribunal directs Chandigarh UT Administration to file a complete and comprehensive Affidavit stating as to which study or physical verification as to the total waste generation, contents of waste, particularly, plastic on what basis, particularly glasses, forks, knifes, non-woven products and other such allied material that are injurious to environment.
