Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Amresh Singh Vs. Union of India & Others dated 04/01/2017 regarding disposal of debris from the construction of the road from Udhampur to Banihal in rivers Ravi and Chenab, Jammu & Kashmir.
National Green Tribunal directs the Jammu and Kashmir State Pollution Control Board and the Department of Environment of the State Government to submit a Joint Status Report as to the analysis of the ambient air quality in the entire construction stretch when the work is going on. The samples should be collected atleast on three different occasions and a composite analysis Report should be submitted to the Tribunal.
