Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Almitra H. Patel & Others Vs. Union of India & Others dated 11/01/2017 regarding generation and management of all kinds of wastes (municipal solid wastes, hospital hazardous wastes). NGT directs Counsel appearing for the East Delhi Municipal Corporation as well as NCT, Delhi to take clear instructions from their respective clients as to what is the cause of repeated dumping of wastes in the colonies and on the roads and what steps they propose to take for proper collection, processing and disposal of the Municipal Solid Waste.
