Order of the National Green Tribunal (Eastern Zone Bench, Kolkata) in the matter of Joydeep Mukherjee VS Pollution Control Board, Assam & Ors dated 24/03/2017 regarding grant of permission to set up brick kiln industries in Assam. Additional Advocate General for the State of Assam submits that the process of issuing the final notification publishing the state policy on the grant of permission to set up brick kiln industries, is at its final stage and is only awaiting consideration of the Finance Department, Govt. of Assam, which, as per him, would be completed within six weeks.
