Order of the Supreme Court of India in the matter of M. C. Mehta Vs Union of India & Others dated 28/04/2017 regarding M. C. Mehta Vs Union of India & Others dated 28/04/2017 regarding functioning of PUC (Pollution Under Control) centres in Delhi NCR.
Some of the recommendations of the EPCA Report on the Assessment of Pollution under Control (PUC) Programme in Delhi and NCR submitted in the Supreme Court can be implemented by the Central Government in consultation with the Governments of Delhi, Rajasthan, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh according to the Solicitor General. Matter is adjourned to 26/07/2017 on which date the Solicitor General will inform the Court which are the recommendations that can be implemented without any difficulty.
