Order of the National Green Tribunal (Central Zonal Bench, Bhopal) in the matter of CH Institute of Management and Commerce & Others vs. State of Madhya Pradesh & Others dated 11/08/2017 regarding requirement of consent to operate for poultry farms. As per the classification of CPCB poultry firms having less than 1 lakh birds do not require ‘Consent to Operate’ as per CPCB guidelines of 20.10.2015. Tribunal directs that the clarification of CPCB dated 19.07.2017 be filed before the Court.
