Order of the National Green Tribunal regarding illegal mining in Chapora river, North Goa, 01/11/2017 [1]

Order of the National Green Tribunal (Western Zone Bench, Pune) in the matter of Saidas R. Khorjuvekar V/s Directorate of Mines & Geology dated 01/11/2017 regarding clandestine sand mining during last six months at Island ‘Zuvom de Tuyem’ in Chapora river between Camurlim and Arabo villages in North Goa.

NGT directs the State of Goa to submit a report on the action taken against the illegal sand mining around the island 'Zuvom de Tuyem' in Chapora river, North Goa.
