Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of All Dimasa Students Union Dima Hasao Dist. Committee Vs. State of Meghalaya & Others dated 18/01/2018 regarding 6,44,169 metric tonnes of the declared coal lying unassessed by the authorities at Semingkri and the areas in its proximity, South Garo Hills-Bagmara, State of Meghalaya.
The Counsel appearing on behalf of the State of Meghalaya submits that the authorities will carry out the assessment of the un-assessed coal lying at Semingkri and its proximity within three weeks. NGT directs the authorities to carry out the assessment of the coal lying in Semingkri and its proximity within three weeks.
