Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Kirti Vardhan Singh Vs. State of Uttar Pradesh & Others dated 09/08/2018 regarding illegal sand mining, Gonda, Uttar Pradesh. By this application, the applicant seeks for a review of order dated 24.07.2018 disposing off O.A. No. 429/2017 directing the State of Uttar Pradesh to recover loss of revenue against Royalty and price of mineral (sand) extracted cumulatively amounting to Rs. 93,04,45,766/- and, cost of restoration of sand calculated at Rs. 1,19,41,500/-, in terms of report dated 07.09.2017 submitted by a Joint Inspection Committee consisting of several experts.

NGT while dismissing the Application said that the order was passed taking all relevant facts into consideration, more particularly the detailed joint inspection report submitted by the Committee.
