Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Hardeep Singh & Others Vs SDMC & Others dated 14/03/2019. The issue for consideration is the control of noise pollution in accordance with the statutory mandate of Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Rules, 2000.

The NGT directs the three Municipal Corporations in Delhi, the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) and the Delhi Cantonment Board (DCB) to acquire noise monitoring devices at the earliest. An action taken report be also submitted by the Committee.
