Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Society for Protection of Environment and Biodiversity Vs Union of India & Others dated 25/03/2019 regarding stone crushers operating in Uttar Pradesh.
Member Secretary, UPPCB has been directed by the Tribunal to give details in respect of the stone crushers which are said to be operating in various districts as under:

1. Banda-21,
2. Mahoba-283,
3. Chitrakoot-71
4. Hamirpur-5
The details to be furnished should include the stone crushers which are operating without consent, the date and name of the units to which the Pollution Control Board had issued closure notice and date and name of the units to which show cause notices have been issued. These details should be submitted by the Pollution Control Board within two weeks.
