Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Ram Ji Vyas Vs Union of India & Others dated 27/06/2019 regarding lack of demarcation between the land belonging to the forest department and one belonging to the mining department in forest blocks of Beri Ganga and Motisara, Jodhpur, Rajasthan.

NGT directs that till proper demarcation of the land belonging to the forest department and one belonging to the mining department is made, no mining activities whatsoever shall be carried out. Also, in order to resolve the issue on the basis of correct information and relevant record, the Tribunal directs the Division Commissioner, Jodhpur, Collector Jodhpur, District Mining Officer, District Forest Officer, Jodhpur and the Commissioner of Police Jodhpur to appear on the next date of hearing (July 22, 2019).
