Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Sukhwanti Vs State of Haryana & Others dated 18/09/2019 regarding a sewage treatment plant (STP) at Barwala, Haryana discharging untreated water into adjoining lands resulting in damage to the crops, contaminating groundwater, death of the livestock and loss of soil fertility.

NGT directs submission of a factual and action taken report from a Committee comprising representatives of Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), State Pollution Control Board (SPCB) and the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Barwala within one month.
