Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Muzaffar Hussain, Ecosorz Foundation Vs State of Rajasthan dated 27/11/2019 regarding inaction of the Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board against illegal extraction of ground water at Rawatbhata, District Chittorgarh, Rajasthan by water mafia for commercial purpose.

Report filed by the Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board (RSPCB) acknowledged the illegal extraction of ground water by "several entities". Further report filed on September 2019 stated that the closure orders have been passed and a chart of compensation prepared.
The NGT while expressing its dissatisfaction on the basis of such calculation, directed for the submission of a fresh report to be produced by the member secretary, RSPCB.
