The NGT directed the District Magistrates of Jamui and Lakhisarai District and the Member Secretary, State Pollution Control Board to penalty of Rs. 50,000/- each to the satisfaction of the Central Pollution Control Board for its failure to carry out the orders of the Tribunal and to ensure that no further mining operation takes place, if such operations were being carried out in violation of the environmental conditions.
