Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Sushil Raghav Vs Union of India & Others dated 21/07/2020. The issue for consideration is the pollution of Radha Kund and Shyam Kund in Village Arita in Mathura District, Uttar Pradesh, by discharge of sewage and domestic waste. The tribunal had sought a response from Mathura Vrindavan Development Authority (MVDA). The MVDA in its response said that the same issue was dealt by the NGT in another case and was listed for hearing on August 11, 2020.

The Tribunal, accepted the request to defer the matter of August 11. The court asked the Oversight Committee constitued by the NGT, under the Chairmanship of Justice S. V. S. Rathore to look into the issue and give its independent report.
