Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Vijay Kumar Dwedi Vs State of Uttar Pradesh dated 05/08/2020. A report was sought from the Divisional Forest Officer, Hamirpur, Uttar Pradesh, with reference to the allegation of illegal sand mining in forest land in Village Hamirpur, adversely affecting the environment.

No report had been received though more than nine months had passed and the matter had been repeatedly adjourned. The court granted one last opportunity for furnishing the report and listed the matter for November 24, 2020.
