The matter related to a stone crusher not complying with environmental norms. M/s Mahadeva Stone Company, Khasra No. 1328, Lalavandi, Tehsil Ramgarh, District Alwar, Rajasthan. Inspection by the RSPCB on March 16, 2020 revealed deficiences in the working of the stone crusher. The SPCB then issued a show cause notice to the stone crusher for intended revocation of consent to operate and intended closure directions under section 31 A of the Air Act.

The SPCB officials again visited the unit on June 16, 2020. During the course of inspection, it was observed that the unit had rectified the deficiences of pollution control measures and emission level of suspended particulate matter (SPM) in ambient air was also within control.
