Affidavit by the state of Karnataka in the matter of Court on its own motion Vs State of Karnaraka on Bellandur and Varthur lake.
Sarakki 5 MLD STP, Chikkabeguru 5 MLD STP, Hulimavu 10 MLD STP, Agram 35 MLD STP have been completed and commissioned. While Madivala 4 MLD STP, K&C Valley 150 MLD STP, 210 MLD capacity ISPS at Koramangala were in the process of being completed.

The wastewater wet well (32.5 MLD capacity) near the premises of 90 MLD Bellanduru Amanikhane STP to augment sewage from the adjoining areas was nearing completion.
One of the recommendations of the Joint Committee constituted to look into the matter was maintaining the water level in the lakes by supplying treated water from the STPs daily to compensate evaporation and seepage losses. Only the surplus treated water should be allowed to flow to Kolar, Chikkaballapur and Anekal. This part was also in the process of nearing completion.
