Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Divakar Varshney Vs Sunil Kumar & Others dated 26/03/2021.

The matter related to the application to remove factories from residential area at Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. It is stated that Sunil Kumar, Homeshwar and Mukesh Kumar are operating the factories in residential area resulting in nuisance, including noise and other pollution.

The applicant (Divakar Varshney) has also annexed a report of the Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board, September 21, 2020 to the effect that Aligarh Development Authority has initiated action against the said industries. The NGT directed the state PCB to look into the grievance and take remedial action.
