Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Joginder Bhandari Vs Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir dated 11/11/2021.
Grievance in the application is against unscientific muck dumping in Arzi nallah by AFCONS Infrastructure Limited at Pakal Dul Hydroelectric Project in district Kishtwar, Jammu & Kashmir, resulting in damage to the environment.

The Tribunal directed the J&K PCC, SEIAA, J&K and the District Magistrate, Kishtwar to verify the facts and take remedial action in accordance with law. An action taken report has to be filed within two months.
