Order of the National Green Tribunal regarding illegal construction on 12 acres of vacant land in Ashok Vihar, Gurugram, Haryana, 11/01/2022 [1]

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Devender Kumar Sharma Vs State of Haryana dated 11/01/2022. Grievance in the application is against illegal constructions on 12 acres of vacant land in Ashok Vihar, Phase-III, Gurugram. It is further stated that garbage is burnt in the said area causing air pollution. No remedial action is taken inspite of complaints to the Commissioner, Nagar Nigam.

The NGT directed a joint Committee of State PCB, District Magistrate, Gurugram and Municipal Corporation, Gurugram to look into the grievance and take remedial action, following due process of law. Proceedings have to be completed within one month and an action taken report to be filed with the Registrar General, NGT.
