The matter pertained to the operation of the sewage treatment plant of Dwarkadham Resident Welfare Society, Bhopal.

During inspection, March 30, 2022 the STP of capacity of 250 KLD based on MBBR technology was found in operation. The mechanical, electrical and plumbing connections of all the units of STP have been completed and labeling of all the units of the STP has been furnished by the builder. The report informed the Tribunal that the sewage treatment plant is operational and the treated  waste water is being used for gardening purposes. A sample of treated wastewater was collected by officials of MPPCB, Bhopal, March 24, 2022 from the STP outlet and as per the analysis report the parameters were found under the limits which indicates that the STP is functioning properly.
