Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Ajay Shrivastav Vs State of Uttar Pradesh & Others dated 21/04/2022.
Grievance in the application is against illegal operation of slaughter house by M/s HMA Agro Industries Limited, Talaspur Khurd, Mathura, Bypass road, tehsil Kol, district Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, in spite of closure order under the Water Act 1974 by the SPCB, July 7, 2020.

The report filed by the Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board, February 19, 2022 to the effect that the unit is lying closed in view of closure order passed by the SPCB. The unit may not be allowed to be opened unless environmental norms are duly complied with, the NGT directed.
