During the latest visit of officials of the SPCB in September 2022, it was observed that out of 11 nallahs, only two nallahs are connected with STP located at Anasagar lake. On the other hand, nine nallahs are directly discharging waste water into Anasagar lake without any treatment.

The SPCB had issued notice for submission of action plan for upgradation of sewage treatment plant (STP) in accordance to the NGT order, April 30, 2019 to the Municipal Corporation, Ajmer and also for making adequate arrangement for providing aeration facilities within Anasagar lake.

The officials of the Nagar Nigam, Ajmer informed that 10 per cent of the household sewer connections are lying pending and shall be completed by March 2023. After which, the discharge of untreated waste water through nine nallahs shall be stopped.
