The stone crushers are located in the district of Mahendragarh, Haryana in the various villages of 3 tehsil - Mahendragarh, Narnaul and Nangal Chaudhary. There are a total 133 stone crushing units in district Mahendragarh. A total amount of Rs 140 lakhs (One crore, forty lakhs) has been deposited by 7 stone crusher units (Rs 20 lakhs each) as interim environmental compensation. All the stone crushing units of district Mahendragarh are presently lying closed in compliance with air pollution control measures.
