Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Sanjay Gandhi Vs State of Gujarat dated 10/04/2024.
The Original Application was registered on the basis of the letter petition sent by the President of Maa Revashree Charitable Trust with the a grievance that waste water through 12 mentioned sewage drains is being discharged in river Narmada. The prayer in the application is to speed up the STP (Sewage Treatment Plant) project of Bharuch City on fast track which is lying pending since long.

The NGT, April 10, 2024 directed the Member Secretary, Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB) to look into the grievance and take appropriate remedial action in accordance with law expeditiously.
