Status report filed by the government of Kerala in Original Application No. 606/2018 before the National Green Tribunal on waste management and sanitation.

The report informed the NGT about the status of solid waste management; non-biodegradable waste management; biodegradable waste management; legacy waste management; liquid waste management and industrial wastewater management.

The Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board, in its report to the NGT recommended that the Municipal Council, Hanumangarh should establish and operate a carcass processing and utilization plant according to guidelines laid by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) for carcasses disposal.

The matter related to violation of the Bio Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016 by wrongly operating CBWTF at RNT Medical College, Udaipur - wherein more than half of the waste is not being treated and is being dumped at Balicha dumping ground, Udaipur which is owned by the Udaipur Municipal Corporation. There is a huge gap in the generation of bio medical waste and capacity to treat it.

The Bhopal Municipal Corporation was directed by the NGT to initiate necessary action for removal of encroachment on the upper lake, Bhopal. The action needs to be taken within a time frame.

The National Green Tribunal (NGT), November 7, 2022 said that tyre pyrolysis oil units (TPOs) need to follow 'zero liquid’ and ‘zero emission’ norms. Further, carbon produced during the process needs to be utilized in cement industries. Carbon material should not be simply transported to landfills, the court said.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of 'In re: Ranthambhore Musical Festival, near the Forest/Sanctuary area' dated 07/11/2022.

The Ranthambhore Musical Festival proposed to be held near the tiger reserve at Ranthambhore, Rajasthan can be held subject to conditions laid down by a joint committee of National Wildlife Board and Chief Wildlife Warden, Rajasthan. Due consideration must be taken into account of the music festival's impact on the wildlife and the ecosystem, the NGT said, November 7, 2022.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Rajjan Pandey Vs State of Uttar Pradesh & Others dated 04/11/2022.

Grievance of applicant Rajjan Pandey is regarding illegal mining, crushing and blasting in the hills of village Nahri, gata no. 156,218,309, 501, 587, 588, 589 and 601 and hills of village Khalari, gata No. 54,144,145, district Banda, Uttar Pradesh in violation of the environmental norms.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Avinash Vidhrohi Vs State of Himachal Pradesh dated 04/11/2022. Avinash Vidhrohi resident of village Deoli, tehsil Ghanari, district Una, Himachal Pradesh in his application to the NGT said that the PWD Department got pruning of all branches of 200 fruit bearing mango trees standing on Daulatpur-Gagret Guglehad road done through a contractor without obtaining requisite permission from the forest department.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Ajay Kumar Vs Uttarakhand Pollution Control Board & Others dated 04/11/2022.

The applicant, Ajay Kumar said that in district Haridwar, Uttrakhand, a large number of brick kilns are operating illegally without having requisite consent/NOC/clearance from the appropriate statutory regulations. "More than 190 brick kilns are operating in the area without complying with the requirement of environmental norms," the applicant said.
