The maali project in action [1]

Any villager owning agricultural land can become a member of the self-help group. Every member will surrender, through a contract on stamp paper, all rights to any water sources that are in his/her individual possession. The member will have equal rights on all water sources managed by the group. While undertaking the work of digging a new well, reconstructing an already existing well, building a check dam or employing a method of water harvesting, every member will have the option to subscribe to that particular water work. Subscription to any new water work undertaken by the group can be made in the form of money or adequate quantities of water.
