Many manufacturers displayed an array of alternative clean technologies at the Auto Expo. Joining the bandwagon was Vialle Alternative Fuel Systems, an Indo-Dutch joint venture which specialises in CNG and LPG alternative fuel systems for petrol vehicles with the capability of designing alternative fuels specifically for individual models.

The company has designed specific CNG and LPG fuel systems for the Maruti 800. Earlier, it had launched an LPG-fitted conversion kit specifically for Ford Ikon. The system is capable of running on a dual-fuel mode, switching from one fuel to the other
