 CAMEROON [1]

The Dja reserve in Cameroon is no longer a safe dwelling for animals, reveals a recent survey of the World Society for the Protection of Animals. "Hunters operate almost unimpeded in the reserve, which is a world heritage site,' claim officials of the society. During the survey, they found that 13 tonnes of bushmeat was transported through one village bordering the reserve during two months. Because of such happenings, Dja's biodiversity is declining.
