The erosion by the River Gorai takes a serious turn at Ghoshial, Moheshpur, Gongaramkhali, Dorunnagar, Vhishnupur, Goalbari and Matikata villages under Sripur upazila of Magura over the last two weeks
At least 1,000 acres of crops land of the upazila went under water rendering several hundreds people homeless and also causing the loss of crores.
