Warangal Dec. 4: In order to make up for the loss expected to be caused due to controversial Babli project, the state government has decided to launch the Kanthalapally lift irrigation project. The proposed project, which is being taken at a cost of Rs 9,200 crore, will have a massive 125 kilometre long tunnel system to supply Godavari water through its lift at the Kanthalapally in the district.
