in safe hands: The rescued elephant calf at the Vandalur Zoo in Chennai on Friday.

CHENNAI: A four-month-old male elephant calf, abandoned by an elephant herd, was rescued by Forest Department officials in Erode last week. The calf was brought to the Vandalur Zoo for rehabilitation on Friday.
