Sainj (Kullu): Contractors and subcontractors working at the phase-II of the 2,051-MW Parbati project being executed by the National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC) continue to dump muck into the Sainj river.
The corporation has not stopped work on the project despite a directive to that effect from the State Environment Protection and Pollution Control Board (SEPPCB) on April 17.
