Portraits of parched villages [1]

AHMEDABAD: Water is supplied once in five days in Ramvav village of Rapar, Kutch. But, one has to walk long distances to reach the community tap. And, this water only meets drinking water needs of one family. For other purposes, one has to purchase water from tankers. Often, cattle are left to die without water.
