Water scarcity, perennial problem for Berhampur [1]

BERHAMPUR: Water scarcity is a perennial problem for Berhampur people despite huge budgetary allocation for a number of water projects under the State and the Central Government schemes.

The city, with over four lakh population, requires 49 million litres (ML) of water on a daily basis.
